Ingredients
For the Shrimp:
1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
Salt & pepper to taste
For the Pasta & Sauce:
12 oz spaghetti
4 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt & pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente.
Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.
Cook the Shrimp
Pat shrimp dry and season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Cook shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
Make the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
Add Parmesan and Italian seasoning, whisking until smooth.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine
Toss spaghetti into the Alfredo sauce, adding reserved pasta water if needed to loosen.
Gently fold in cooked shrimp.
Serve
Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan.
Serve hot with garlic bread or a side salad.
