Ingredients

For the Shrimp:

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • Salt & pepper to taste

For the Pasta & Sauce:

  • 12 oz spaghetti

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 cups heavy cream

  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta

    • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

    • Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente.

    • Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.

  2. Cook the Shrimp

    • Pat shrimp dry and season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

    • Cook shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.

  3. Make the Alfredo Sauce

    • In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

    • Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

    • Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

    • Add Parmesan and Italian seasoning, whisking until smooth.

    • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Combine

    • Toss spaghetti into the Alfredo sauce, adding reserved pasta water if needed to loosen.

    • Gently fold in cooked shrimp.

  5. Serve

    • Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan.

    • Serve hot with garlic bread or a side salad.

  • Swap spaghetti for fettuccine or linguine for a classic Alfredo twist.
